Stephen M. Pollet, MD, FACR, attended the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and received his medical degree in 1980. Then, he served his internal medicine residency at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans (1980-1983). Furthermore, he did a fellowship in geriatrics (1983-1985) followed by a fellowship in rheumatology (1985-1987) at the University of California-Davis in Sacramento. In addition, Dr. Pollet received board certification in internal medicine and rheumatology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and member of the Capital Area Medical Society. Dr. Pollet was listed as a 2020 Best Doctor by Louisiana Life Magazine. Dr. Pollet dedicates his spare time to sports and medical missions. Over the years, he has served in medical missions to Honduras through St. Aloysius Church in Baton Rouge.
