He joined the practice in 1993 following several years of post-education medical practice. A 1980 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Pollet performed his residency in internal medicine at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, completing the program in 1983. Two years later, in 1985, he completed his fellowship in internal medicine/geriatrics at the University of California-Davis in Sacramento, followed by a second fellowship in rheumatology at the same educational venue in 1987.
